Spare Part Engineer (m/f/d)

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Create, maintain, and update BOMs for spare parts, including implementing end-of-life strategies for discontinued materials and assemblies
  • Develop and maintain technical drawings, specifications, manuals, and a 3D spare parts catalog, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Design and optimize spare parts to meet technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Monitor and optimize spare parts costs, ensuring the efficient use of resources
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to spare parts and BOMs to enhance product quality and reliability

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Completed studies in the field of mechanical or electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, such as a technical secondary school in these fields 
  • Professional experience in spare parts management, especially in an industrial environment of advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP-systems, especially BOM-handling 
  • Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawings, with strong knowledge of specifications, materials science, manufacturing, and quality control methods
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and identify technical problems with a solution-oriented approach
  • Good communication skills 
  • Fluent in spoken and written business English
