Group R&D Project Manager (m/f)

As Group Project Manager, you will work with the four R&D departments of Microtec over the world. You will be responsible for the definition of rules and procedures for an international cooperation and you will manage important development projects, assuring the achievements of high results within the foreseen times and costs.

Your tasks

  • Collaboration in the definition of internal guidelines for Project Management for the group 
  • Management of all project phases: start, planning, execution, controlling and closing
  • Preparation of the documentation of the projects’ requirements, scope as well as documenting projects’ creation, development, and execution
  • Analysis of project data, including project costs, risks and resource allocation
  • Definition and improvement of project management processes and policies
  • Facilitation of team collaboration, communication and productivity

Your profile

  • Engineering background
  • Proven track record of planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, the experience in the industrial/automation field is considered an advantage
  • Experience in establishing practices, templates, policies and tools to improve projects’ organization
  • Good understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Ability to manage conflicts and negotiate agreeable solutions
  • Good communication skills at all organisational levels
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Available for frequent travels abroad
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an advantage
  • A previous experience in international contexts is an advantage
  • Driving license B
