Product Safety & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
- Ensuring that products and equipment are developed in accordance with regulations
- Conducting systematic research on applicable product directives and standards, with a focus on low-voltage and EMC directives, as well as machinery directives and subordinate standards
- Recording and evaluating standard requirements
- Planning, moderating and implementing risk analyses with the project team
- Implementing measures to prove and ensure conformity and safety
- Approving products and required documentation for CE and standard conformity
- Managing external consultants and serving as the point of contact for customers regarding conformity and safety aspects
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree in technical studies, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of product safety and compliance
- Familiarity with the CE conformity procedure for low voltage, EMC and machinery directives
- Knowledge and application of product standards in the low-voltage field
- Basic understanding of functional safety (desirable)
- Analytical and networked thinking
- Organisational skills and a structured work approach
- Good communication skills and assertiveness
- Fluent in German or Italian, with very good command of English
