At Alpitronic, we build technology that drives the global mobility transition. As part of our newly formed Data Engineering Team, you will help design and operate a state‑of‑the‑art data lakehouse powered by the latest cloud technologies. You’ll work with massive, high‑impact datasets generated by cutting‑edge DC fast‑charging infrastructure, transforming raw data into insights that enable scalable green technology worldwide!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of our data warehouse / lakehouse, focusing on analytics-ready data models
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT transformations, data pipelines and semantic models for structured and semi-structured data
- Ensure data quality, metric consistency, performance optimization, and governed access for analytics use cases
- Contribute to analytics engineering best practices, documentation, and data cataloguing to enable self-service analytics
- Collaborate on near-real-time / streaming data models to support operational analytics
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or similar
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role in the field of data engineering or data analytics or database development
- Good understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts
- Hands-on experience in the creation of dashboards using e.g. Power BI, Grafana, Dash or Shiny, Tableau, etc
- Experience with version-control systems and workflows
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)
- Exposure to big data tools such as PySpark and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus
- Interest or experience in modern data stack tools such as dbt, Delta Lake, Iceberg, and Spark-based lakehouses
- Fluency in English; Italian and/or German as a plus
