YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consolidate normative and stakeholder requirements for charging cables and cooling units into the System Requirements Documents
- Document the integration of the charging cables into the overall System Architecture and be the reference person within R&D for all related questions
- Lead and monitor the qualification process of charging cables for existing and new products from prototype testing to introduction in the serial production
- Create models and lead the implementation for the functions related to the operation of the charging cables and cooling units
- Keep track of the latest technical developments and advances for charging cables and cooling units
- Lead the communication and exchange towards the suppliers of the subsystems (charging cables and cooling units)
- Be the contact person within the company for all high level questions on charging cables and cooling units (especially for R&D, quality dept and production)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consolidate stakeholder requirements into a system requirements document for our charging infrastructure products
- Carry out feasibility studies based on the system requirements
- Design the overall product architecture of the EV chargers taking into account the system requirements, mission profile and technical constraints
- This includes the design of the system topology, the high-level partitioning, the functions' allocation and the definition of interfaces
- Provide iterative optimisation of the product architecture through modelling, simulation and integration of performance feedback
- Contribute to validation planning and results evaluation
- Regularly review and update requirements documentation to ensure coverage, accuracy and alignment with system architecture and project objectives
- Be the point of contact for requirements and standards for charging infrastructure projects
- Keep track of the latest technical developments and advances in key components and technologies

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor chargers performance using collected field data to proactively identify and resolve issues, particularly during product launch phases
- Apply systematic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues with the chargers in customer applications, like:
- Data mining using corporate tools
- Analysis of system logs and specific data collection
- Performance of tests to reproduce, isolate and address the issues
- Work with all the development teams to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Provide guidance to data analysts and scientists on the strategic direction of their activities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Address the project needs and implement the EMC concept, supported by preliminary calculations and best practices
- Verify the EMC concept implementation through internal coordination with other R&D departments and design reviews
- Analyse the EMC standard to define EMC requirements at project level (system or sub-system)
- Perform preliminary calculation of the EMC behaviour with simple circuital model using Ansys Circuit Designer
- Design the EMI filters (for HV and LV), including component selection/schematic
- Perform and coordinate the debug phase activities
- Verify the correct execution of the EMC validation (setup and results) assisting the test phases
- Prepare EMC related project documentation (e.g. debug test report, compliance matrix coverage)
- Improve the design according to requirements and costs
- Follow and support the change request processes

- Handle technical customer enquiries as an interface with the research & development department
- Conduct regular customer calls to coordinate technical content and clarify technical issues
- Provide technical advice to customers and project managers
- Coordinate with customers for further development of various products
- Manage of RFI (Request for Information) and the technical part of tenders

- Provide an ownership of applicable norms and safety standards for all products & equipment developed by R&D
- Establish processes & methodologies to monitor and ensure the relevant compliance with applicable regulations
- Perform risk related analysis and monitor/drive the implementation of mitigating actions as per the defined action plan
- Draft and update all risk & compliance related technical documentation and declarations of conformity
- Carry out compliance analysis for new markets entrz and follow discussions with local authorities
- Work with corporate requirements management tools, promoting suggestions and improvements

- Monitoring compliance with KPIs and SLAs at service providers to ensure service delivery

- Operational support for service providers in their daily business execution
- Onboarding of service partners and ensuring the availability of relevant skills and qualifications within the partner network

- Be the system architect of DC chargers’ diagnostic functions and utilities, both embedded and remote
- Define and validate the safe operation modes correspondent to possible diagnosed faults and issues
- Provide relevant requirements to SW department for the diagnostic functions & utilities implementation
- Monitor and improve the performance of the developed diagnostic tools on the chargers in the field
- Provide training and guidance on how to use the diagnostic tools in cross-functional teams
- Provide support and guidelines for diagnosing and resolving functional issues in a timely manner

- Promote and coordinate value engineering initiatives within the R&D department
- Sponsor and drive development for value improvement, cost and complexity reduction
- Organize and lead technical cross-functional workshops, aimed at enhancing value and reducing costs
- Fertilize a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering inside the R&D and across departments
- Define & implement methodologies to understand strengths & weaknesses of different players
- Establish and improve tools for teardown analysis and idea generation

- Design, development and maintenance of embedded firmware for microcontroller and PLA applications
- Development and enhancement of embedded Linux applications (e.g. device tree adoptions, peripheral integrations and performance optimizations)
- Development and integration of system and application software
- Testing and debug of software on target and test environments
- Maintaining close communication with developers, project heads and other internal stakeholders

- Lead the System Validation Team, responsible for systems’ verification & validation according to V-Cycle
- Review product requirements from System Development and define the relevant test cases
- Accordingly, establish the verification plans and reports (DVP-R) and manage their execution
- Supervise verification tests priorities and solve eventual conflicts
- Concept, develop and Implement HIL infrastructures for automatic systems validation
- Enhance overall testing equipment automatization and efficiency.

- Design and develop embedded software for Linux in different languages (C/C++, Python, shell scripts)
- Configure the Linux kernel and the libraries required by the applicative level
- Debug code on various systems using suitable debugging tools

- Proactively explore and develop new business relationships, customers and concrete opportunities in the market segment Commercial Vehicle Charging
- Create specific sales strategies and supporting a business plan creation within the commercial vehicle charging segment, to drive revenue growth and margins
- Negotiate and close contracts and frame agreements with strategic customers
- Generate forecasts and reports based on sales activities
- Ensure market share and successful introduction of existing and specific new products
- Conduct customer visits, by providing commercial and technical consulting for suitable charging solutions
- Manage customers’ commercial and technical inquiries
- Provide market information and support the elaboration of blueprints for our specific solution offering in the Commercial Vehicle Charging market, in close alignment with the Segment Marketing department

- Design and develop software cyber security mechanisms in accordance with applicable cyber security requirements and secure code writing guidelines
- Support in monitoring vulnerabilities that may affect the product, assessing their severity and managing any associated correction and verification
- Assist in the definition/updating of secure coding guidelines
- Support the integration and configuration of cybersecurity mechanisms for the entire product lifecycle (development, production, maintenance)
- Write documentation on the software developed in accordance with the process
- Debugging code on various systems using debuggers
- Read and understand the technical documentation of the µprocessors and µcontrollers
