YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the IT applications team, providing guidance, support and development opportunities
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of software applications to ensure that they meet business requirements and align with the company's objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their application needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Ensure that all applications are running smoothly, are regularly updated and meet security and compliance standards
- Secure that the organization has strong systems analysis and project management skills and the ability to execute business-critical projects
- Implement the most appropriate and effective IT organizational design to support and engage with the business
- Help determine capital investment parameters, priorities and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize the return on investment

Your responsibilities:
- Lead strategic initiatives in production, technology, logistics, and digitization, actively driving advancements in these areas
- Acquire comprehensive expertise in business operations and value-added production processes, emphasizing critical interfaces
- Contribute to continuous process optimization by means of appropriate analyses and integration of measures
- Lead diverse projects across multiple plants, collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Play a key role in the development, training, and onboarding of technical and production personnel

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall SAP system landscape, including installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of SAP systems (e.g. ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, PI/PO)
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, enhancement packages and patches, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations
- Regularly monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement performance tuning measures to ensure optimal system operation
- Ensure regular system backups, system security and develop disaster recovery plans to maintain high availability and business continuity for critical systems
- Manage the SAP transport system and coordinate transports across the SAP landscape, ensuring smooth deployment of changes and updates in development, quality and production environments
- Administer SAP databases, including performance monitoring, capacity planning, backups and troubleshooting database-related issues (Oracle, HANA, etc.)
- Design and plan SAP system landscapes, including high availability, disaster recovery setups and cloud integrations, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP Basis-related issues, including system outages, performance problems and configuration errors
- Use tools such as SAP Solution Manager to proactively monitor, alert and report on the health of SAP systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures and best practices
