YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller and programmable logic applications, primarily in C
- Define firmware architectures and support board commissioning activities for new hardware platforms
- Develop low-level drivers and firmware modules for MCU peripherals, including ADCs, GPIOs, Timers, and communication interfaces such as CAN, I2C, and SPI
- Develop, integrate, and maintain system and application software
- Ensure robust hardware-software integration throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Perform software testing, debugging, and validation in both target and test environments
- Contribute to functional safety-related activities, including architecture and design documentation, code reviews, and test specification definition
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry norms and standards, supporting upcoming functional safety applications
- Troubleshoot field issues and conduct root-cause analyses to ensure product reliability
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution

- Strengthen and further develop the organisation of the Charging Functions Software team
- Lead internal and external resources to ensure the right balance between operational control and effective delegation
- Manage hiring activities, employee development, training, coaching and mentoring
- Define, develop and monitor the technical product roadmap for charging functions and firmware, aligning it with the overall product strategy
- Align regulatory, standardisation and customer requirements with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in processes, methodologies and development practices to enhance efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address technical enquiries and resolve issues in the field
- Support technical decision-making and contribute to strategic product development initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in the development of embedded software and firmware

- Collaborate with senior developers to understand the existing WinForms application
- Assist in refactoring the application’s front-end from WinForms to WPF.
- Implement the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture pattern in the WPF application.
- Develop user interfaces and ensure they meet modern usability standards.
- Participate in discussions to define clear requirements and workflows for the refactored application.
- Contribute to reducing the complexity of the application by focusing on essential tools and functionalities.
