- Identifizieren und Qualifizieren neuer Lieferanten für elektronische Komponenten und EMS in Zusammenarbeit mit F&E, Kosteningenieuren, Lieferkettenmanagement, Qualitätssicherung und anderen relevanten Unternehmensabteilungen.
- Verhandeln von Verträgen und Vereinbarungen mit Lieferanten, einschließlich technischer und kommerzieller Bedingungen.
- Aufbau und Pflege starker Beziehungen zu Lieferanten, um eine konsistente Leistung sicherzustellen und Probleme zu lösen. Dazu gehören regelmäßige Kommunikation, Überwachung der Lieferantenleistung anhand definierter Kennzahlen und Zusammenarbeit an kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsinitiativen.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
- Cost Modeling: Develop and maintain precise cost models covering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Cost Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates for new designs and engineering changes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze cost data to identify cost drivers and trends and develop strategies for cost reduction.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement to negotiate favorable supplier terms and evaluate quotes for competitiveness.
- Value Engineering: Facilitate value engineering workshops to promote innovative and cost-effective design alternatives.
- Team Training: Train and mentor teams on cost models, fostering a cost-conscious culture within the organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical leadership for Alpitronic's power electronics development
- Develop new generation power electronics, such as new switching topologies, introduction of new power semiconductors and new gate driver circuits
- Develop innovative and cost-optimised power electronics, maximising power density (power semiconductors, magnetics and capacitors)
- Lead the debugging of newly developed power electronic boards and assemblies
- Lead field return analyses for power electronics

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the high level product architecture for EV chargers covering functions and subsystems, ensuring alignment with system requirements, mission profiles, and technical constraints
- Apply MBSE methodologies to design, decompose and document key system properties within a centralized model
- Conduct feasibility studies to validate design decisions against system requirements
- Collaborate in iterative product architecture optimization using modeling, simulation, and performance feedback integration
- Support validation planning and assess results to ensure system compliance and functionality
- Stay informed of the latest advancements in key components and emerging technologies relevant to the field

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and strengthen the HW Engineering organisation while enhancing innovation attitude and total quality approach
- Implement the company strategy/culture into HW Engineering, set targets and actively support basic and advanced research initiatives
- Define relevant human and technical resources requirements, manage hirings, training, coaching and mentoring activities
- Implement HW engineering budget & forecast process, strengthen HW development processes and tools
- Oversee the requirements analysis of HW subsystems and lead the definition of HW specifications accordingly
- Promote standardization, modularity, power density in HW development
- Technically manage and supervise critical characteristics of HW components
- Perform HW components unit testing, integration, verification
- Review and supervise HW related design for manufacturing, assembling, servicing
- Check the coverage of approved HW requirements into released specifications
- Structure review and release workflows for parts and BOMs
- Sponsor design2cost projects and VA/VE initiatives
- Monitor applicable standards & norms and relevant trends and evolutions
- Participate in technical roundtables & committees
