YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Closely collaborate with R&D to identify and drive technical initiatives for material cost reduction, including support for new product development
- Analyze production processes and bills of materials to uncover technical optimization opportunities and cost-saving measures
- Organize and lead innovation workshops and cost-benefit analyses involving suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between technical specifications, Commodity strategies, and evolving market trends
- Support operational units in harmonizing scopes of supply/services in line with the global sourcing strategies

- Evaluate and support supplier development from a technical perspective, together with cross-functional internal departments, to ensure optimal supplier selection

- Identify, research, and assess emerging assembly technologies relevant to future products and processes
- Translate technology concepts into scalable and manufacturable processes
- Define process and site requirements, equipment needs, personnel qualification requirements and quality targets
- Monitor trends in automation, joining, packaging, and digital manufacturing
- Plan and execute pilot projects, prototypes, and trials
- Conduct simulations and lab-scale trials to evaluate new technologies
- Perform risk, cost, and maturity assessments (e.g., TRL, MRL)
- Contribute to the creation of technology standards across product families
- Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and suppliers on technology development

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
- Searching and identifying competitive new suppliers in defined market or for specific scope (e.g. high strategic relevance, best cost countries…)
- Driving initial qualification of the new suppliers according to the requirements of department such as product quality management and engineering
- Support global sourcing department in contract negotiation and tender management by ensuring suppliers have the right capabilities and processes in place
- Develop, analyze key data and frame conditions such as customs regulations and regulatory requirements in specific supply markets
- Execution of supplier evaluations and supplier development activities together with internal cross-functions
- Responsible for maintenance and development of the company Supplier Development Tools
- Definition of action plans together with suppliers and internal cross-functions, ensuring fulfillment on the part of the suppliers

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical leadership for Alpitronic's power electronics development
- Develop new generation power electronics, such as new switching topologies, introduction of new power semiconductors and new gate driver circuits
- Develop innovative and cost-optimised power electronics, maximising power density (power semiconductors, magnetics and capacitors)
- Lead the debugging of newly developed power electronic boards and assemblies
- Lead field return analyses for power electronics

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the strategic and international direction, planning and development of global sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives and ensure sustainable value creation
- Strategic supplier selection, qualification and development
- Identify and qualify new procurement sources in accordance with the agreed sourcing strategies to ensure long term competitiveness and supply capability, create optimal cost structures, reduce capital lock-up and Alpitronic's risk, including supplier performance and capacity assessment
- Ensure the resilience of the supply chain (multi-sourcing, near-shoring, standardisation, diversification of the manufacturing network, etc.)
- Optimise supply chain processes by implementing best practices to increase efficiency and productivity, minimise risk and improve supplier and product quality
- Design and negotiate domestic and international procurement contracts and supply agreements to ensure optimum cost, quality, availability, low capital commitment, flexibility and service
- Optimise material costs by actively participating in new product development and managing the purchasing activities associated with the initial stages of new product qualification and launch
- Develop and implement key performance indicators for procurement to monitor the success of strategies and processes and ensure continuous improvement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, R&D, Product Quality and other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of sourcing and supply chain initiatives
- Identify, assess and manage risks to ensure business continuity and compliance
- Lead and develop teams of sourcing professionals to achieve high levels of performance and successful execution of the business strategy
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental and social standards in the supply chain
