Manage the overall SAP system landscape, including installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of SAP systems (e.g. ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, PI/PO)
Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, enhancement packages and patches, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations
Regularly monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement performance tuning measures to ensure optimal system operation
Ensure regular system backups, system security and develop disaster recovery plans to maintain high availability and business continuity for critical systems
Manage the SAP transport system and coordinate transports across the SAP landscape, ensuring smooth deployment of changes and updates in development, quality and production environments
Administer SAP databases, including performance monitoring, capacity planning, backups and troubleshooting database-related issues (Oracle, HANA, etc.)
Design and plan SAP system landscapes, including high availability, disaster recovery setups and cloud integrations, ensuring scalability and reliability
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP Basis-related issues, including system outages, performance problems and configuration errors
Use tools such as SAP Solution Manager to proactively monitor, alert and report on the health of SAP systems
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures and best practices
