Coordinate all FMEA related activities (design, process) during the product development process (CP2) but also the continuous updates of documents within serial production (e.g. control plans)
Monitor status of defined measures within the different FMEAs
Support pro-actively the engineering process (CP2) and the production process (CP3) as well as related sub processes activities in regards to quality risk mitigation
Qualify employees in the usage of tools, methodology and standard
Development of the FMEA methodology, tool and standard
Searching and identifying competitive new suppliers in defined market or for specific scope (e.g. high strategic relevance, best cost countries…)
Driving initial qualification of the new suppliers according to the requirements of department such as product quality management and engineering
Support global sourcing department in contract negotiation and tender management by ensuring suppliers have the right capabilities and processes in place
Develop, analyze key data and frame conditions such as customs regulations and regulatory requirements in specific supply markets
Execution of supplier evaluations and supplier development activities together with internal cross-functions
Responsible for maintenance and development of the company Supplier Development Tools
Definition of action plans together with suppliers and internal cross-functions, ensuring fulfillment on the part of the suppliers
Responsible to transfer new products and major product or process changes from engineering to serial production
Manages all industrialization related activites within in the product development, which includes prototyping, process planning, process validation and production scale up
Managing an interdisciplinary project team consisting of process, equipment and test system engineers, ERP/MES architects, supply chain management, purchasing, quality and facility management
Responsible for planning, executing and controlling the industrialization project within the designated timeline and budget, including project reporting and stakeholder management
Coordination of process planning, which includes definition of the value stream (process, material and information flow), PFMEA/control plan, specification and selection of assembly and test equipment and planning of production layout / infrastructure
Coordination of process validation and production scale up which includes installation of infrastructure, production and test equipment, setup & verification of software and production master data, HSE assessment, production of prototypes & pre-series samples and preparation of phase over to serial production
Definition of project related industrialization requirements like design for manufacturing, design for service and design for reliability
Participation in change board meetings to identify and take over major changes to be executed within NPI Core team member in product development project as main interface to development project manager for all industrialization activities
