System Engineer - Technical Safety & Compliance (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide an ownership of applicable norms and safety standards for all products & equipment developed by R&D
  • Establish processes & methodologies to monitor and ensure the relevant compliance with applicable regulations
  • Perform risk related analysis and monitor/drive the implementation of mitigating actions as per the defined action plan
  • Draft and update all risk & compliance related technical documentation and declarations of conformity
  • Carry out compliance analysis for new markets entrz and follow discussions with local authorities
  • Work with corporate requirements management tools, promoting suggestions and improvements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Completed studies in electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • Work experience and training in electrical safety compliance and preferably also in mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of European directives for CE conformity declaration (Low Voltage Directive, EMC, Machinery Directive, RoHS, REACH)
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation according to EN ISO 12100
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving, proactive and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian or German
