As part of our global analytics transformation, we are strengthening our Business Intelligence team with a Data Analyst who combines strong business-oriented analytical skills with a clear interest in gradually evolving toward Data Science over time.
This role is primarily a BI Data Analyst position. In parallel, you will actively contribute to building foundational Data Science capabilities as the organization matures in this area.
Your Responsibilities
Business Intelligence
- Gather and translate BI requirements into clear and actionable solution concepts
- Collaborate closely with IT, BI Developers, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle
- Coordinate and support the end-to-end delivery of BI solutions, ensuring quality, usability, and business relevance
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and deep dives to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned BI solutions and ensure their continuous effectiveness
Data Science Foundations
- Conduct exploratory data analyses to support more advanced analytical use cases
- Support the development of initial analytical prototypes (e.g., forecasting models, segmentation approaches)
- Collaborate with the BI team and business stakeholders on data-driven pilot initiatives
- Help introduce tools, methods, and best practices that lay the groundwork for future Data Science capabilities
- Actively participate in shaping how Data Science evolves within the organization over time
Your Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a comparable analytical role
- Strong analytical and conceptual mindset with the ability to translate business questions into meaningful data insights
- Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Power BI
- Basic proficiency in Python for data analysis (or strong willingness to learn)
- Good understanding of statistical fundamentals and an interest in expanding these skills
- Motivation to grow into a future Data Science role as the organization develops
- Good English skills; German and/or Italian are a plus
