The Business/Data Analyst will join the Business Analyst team within the Sales area, serving as a key link between business needs and technical solutions. This role is responsible for developing reports and dashboards, analyzing and interpreting data, and collaborating with various departments to deliver actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations that support decision-making and drive business performance.
Tasks & Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and support business decisions using BI tools for both sell-in and sell-out data
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Brands, Divisions, Marketing etc.) to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data models and reporting solutions, sharing these specifications with the IT Data team responsible for the more technical implementation
- Continuously improve reporting processes by identifying automation opportunities and best practices
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting tools and systems, proactively identifying and reporting data issues, and supporting the Data Governance team in defining standards and ensuring compliance with data quality policies
- Interpret and present data in a clear and actionable way, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Provide training and guidance to business users on BI tools and reporting solutions to ensure effective adoption and utilization
- Stay updated on data analytics tools and methodologies to drive innovation within the team
Profile: - Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar fields
- +2 years experience in a similar position
- Familiarity with processes and dynamics of a product-based company, ideally in wholesale or consumer goods
- Fluent in English and Italian or German
