As part of our IT Applications team you will play a key role in building a seamlessly connected digital ecosystem. As an IT Integration Engineer, you will work with cutting‑edge technologies to design and optimize the data flows that power our operations. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze business and system requirements to design robust, reusable integration methods (APIs, batch ETL, EDI)
- Build and maintain integrations between ERP and surrounding systems (MES, CRM, PLM, HR tools, Finance tools) as well as to customer and supplier applications
- Configure and manage integration platforms
- Monitor integrations, set up alerting, dashboards, and error-handling logic and troubleshoot incidents end to end
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reconciliation across systems
- Apply security-by-design
- Partner with application teams, external partners to plan and prioritize integration
- Maintain documentation and versioning
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or Management Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role in system integration between enterprise systems, ideally within a manufacturing company
- Proficiency with integration tools like Lobster (preferred), SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Boomi, including flow design, connector configuration, error handling and deployment
- Experience with data formats & transformation (e.g. JSON, XML, CSV, EDI) and with integration with ERP (SAP ECC/S4HANA), including IDoc/BAPI/OData
- Strong experience in API integration using REST and SOAP
- Knowledge of programming languages, e.g. Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Python or Groovy
- Experience with B2B/EDI onboarding and partner management
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and data quality
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to work
- Fluency in English; Italian and/or German as a plus
