Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability are at heart of the Oberalp Group. The task of the Sustainability Team is to ensure that Operations, products and partnerships in the company reflect our guiding principles, and especially “mindfulness guides the future”. The Sustainability Specialist is passionate about sustainability, and generates content for communicating the main points of the sustainability strategy, progress, challenges and product features, including the annual Sustainability Report of the Company. The ideal candidate interacts with various functions across Oberalp: works closely with all members of the sustainability team, collaborates with the Group Corporate communication staff, and supports the marketing and sales departments of our brands. The figure for this position produces practical guidelines and provides advice to brands for integrating “greenwashing free” sustainability communication in their campaigns, posts and websites, that reflect our values and strategy, are relevant, and fulfill the expectations of our customers. Tasks & responsibilities
Sustainability communication and reporting: Integration and diffusion of sustainability-related topics through company presentations and engagement workshops, preparation of info-graphics, development of communication tools
Support the Group’s Functions, Management and the brands by developing content for interviews, websites, newsletters, social networks, support retail in the development of POS material
Data collection from different departments and issues (chemicals, human rights, CO2 emissions, stakeholder interests, etc.) required for ESG reporting by various stakeholders (customers, Dealers, Financial Institutions, Industry Associations).
Collaboration with partners (dealers) in effective communication of Sustainability content and value
Research on sustainability issues and industry developments
Project-based responsibility related to corporate culture, climate policy, sustainable product development, community engagement, animal rights, stakeholder engagement
Close collaboration with the Corporate Communication department on a Group level for projects and tasks such as internal communication of sustainability topics, preparation of press releases, maintenance and feeding of the Oberalp website oberalp.com
Profile
University degree in a related field and 2 years’ experience in one of the core issues: Communication / marketing / sales / customer care / sustainable development / environmental studies
Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office
Fluent in English. Good Italian and/or German both written and spoken
Organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and networking skills, team player
