YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development of our data warehouse / lakehouse solution
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and security across all data systems
- Contribute to the development of best practices, documentation and data cataloguing
- Contribute to streaming data solutions
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or similar
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role in the field of data engineering or database development
- Good understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts
- Solid Python skills, with experience in API development and ETL tools (e.g., AWS Glue or Apache Airflow)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS and/or Microsoft Fabric
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)
- Exposure to big data tools such as PySpark and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus
- Interest or experience in modern data stack tools such as dbt, Delta Lake, Iceberg, and Spark-based lakehouses
- Fluency in English; Italian and/or German as a plus
