Internship Data Protection & Information Security Awareness (m/f/d)
In this position, you will be part of the Information Security Governance team and will support the Information Security Governance Specialist as well as the external Data Protection Officer. You will help ensure GDPR compliance, maintain privacy documentation and contribute to the group-wide information security awareness program.
YOUR TASKS
- Maintain and update privacy documentation (e.g., Record of Processing Activities)
- Support in drafting and updating Data Processing Agreements
- Assist in creating and maintaining privacy notices, procedures and internal policies
- Support in Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Assist in privacy audits and internal compliance checks
- Monitor privacy-related inboxes, triage requests, and ensure timely responses
- Help design, implement and monitor the annual information security awareness program
- Provide first-level support to employees regarding awareness measures and the digital training platform
- Contribute to reporting on data protection and the information security awareness program
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree (Bachelor’s) in Law or a comparable field relevant to privacy
- Basic understanding of information security fundamentals
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (or similar productivity tools)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; precise and structured working style
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to understand processes and data flows
- Interest in information technology and learning new topics
- Fluent in Italian; good knowledge of English (German is a plus)
