To support our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking to strengthen our management team in Bolzano with a modern and business-centric Head of Internal IT & Applications.
Role:
- Strategy:
- Create and execute a coherent and future-proof IT strategy across applications, cybersecurity, end-user services and infrastructure based on group-wide strategic initiatives
- Engagement & Innovation:
- Seek strong engagement with all business functions and fit business requirements into overall IT strategy and cybersecurity requirements
- Continue to position the IT department as a go-to innovation and sparring partner for business challenges
- Stay on top of IT trends and emerging technologies and oversee and steer scouting, introduction, integration and development of products, solutions and applications
- Governance and standards:
- Strengthen IT Governance model, budgeting and investment allocations processes
- Develop and enforce IT best practices across the organization, in particular regarding cybersecurity
- Liaise with external consultants, partners and other counterparties, such as auditors in the context of ISO or similar certifications
- Team:
- Act as a talent scout, driving existing team members forward to unfold their maximum potential and identifying particularly high potentials
- Continuously attract and integrate a diverse set of new hires with complementing skills to achieve strategic objectives of the team
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in governance of medium-large corporate IT or managed service provider
- Strong understanding of applications and infrastructure, and the challenges faced by modern IT departments
- Demonstrated track record in seeking out business teams and building strong cross-functional relationships
- Well-rounded mentality with sound trade-offs between operations (“run”), change projects (“grow”) and innovation (“transform”)
- Extreme sensitivity to cybersecurity and a profound understanding of its essential importance for Managed Service Providers and Software Development companies
- Italian (mother tongue), English
- The German language will be considered a plus
