Equipment Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and enhance a high-performing Equipment Engineering team.
  • Design production lines and equipment for production plans, cycle times, and process reliability.
  • Plan and track the entire equipment realization and commissioning process.
  • Introduce, track, and optimize KPIs such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, laboratory, and production teams.
  • Delegate representatives to production departments (Matrix structure).

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education.
  • 7+ years of electromechanical systems production experience, with 5+ years in Equipment Engineering.
  • Proficient in project management for electromechanical systems.
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, reliability, and task delegation skills.
  • Deep understanding of electromechanical manufacturing processes, including electronic components, assemblies, and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledgeable in Lean principles and continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience in quality management, including ISO 9001 standards, quality control procedures and tools, implementation of quality initiatives such as 8-D Reports, Process FMEA, and OEE methodologies.
  • Fluent in English; basic proficiency in German or Italian.
