YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and strengthen the HW Engineering organisation while enhancing innovation attitude and total quality approach
  • Implement the company strategy/culture into HW Engineering, set targets and actively support basic and advanced research initiatives

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior developers to understand the existing WinForms application
  • Assist in refactoring the application’s front-end from WinForms to WPF.
  • Implement the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture pattern in the WPF application.
  • Develop user interfaces and ensure they meet modern usability standards.
  • Participate in discussions to define clear requirements and workflows for the refactored application.
  • Contribute to reducing the complexity of the application by focusing on essential tools and functionalities.

  • Closely collaborate with R&D to identify and drive technical initiatives for material cost reduction, including support for new product development

  • Monitor chargers performance using collected field data to proactively identify and resolve issues, particularly during product launch phases
  • Apply systematic troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues with the chargers in customer applications, like:
    • Data mining using corporate tools
    • Analysis of system logs and specific data collection
    • Performance of tests to reproduce, isolate and address the issues
  • Work with all the development teams to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide guidance to data analysts and scientists on the strategic direction of their activities
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consolidate normative and stakeholder requirements for charging cables and cooling units into the System Requirements Documents
  • Document the integration of the charging cables into the overall System Architecture and be the reference person within R&D for all related questions
  • Lead and monitor the qualification process of charging cables for existing and new products from prototype testing to introduction in the serial production
  • Create models and lead the implementation for the functions related to the operation of the charging cables and cooling units 
  • Keep track of the latest technical developments and advances for charging cables and cooling units
  • Lead the communication and exchange towards the suppliers of the subsystems (charging cables and cooling units)
  • Be the contact person within the company for all high level questions on charging cables and cooling units (especially for R&D, quality dept and production)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Elicit and document software requirements based on customer needs, industry standards and internal product strategies
  • Collaborate closely with product management, system architects, hardware engineers and software developers

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible to transfer new products and major product or process changes from engineering to serial production
  • Manages all industrialization related activites within in the product development, which includes prototyping, process planning, process validation and production scale up
  • Managing an interdisciplinary project team consisting of process, equipment and test system engineers, 
    ERP/MES architects, supply chain management, purchasing, quality and facility management
  • Responsible for planning, executing and controlling the industrialization project within the designated timeline and budget, including project reporting and stakeholder management
  • Coordination of process planning, which includes definition of the value stream (process, material and information flow), PFMEA/control plan, specification and selection of assembly and test equipment and planning of production layout / infrastructure
  • Coordination of process validation and production scale up which includes installation of infrastructure, production and test equipment, setup & verification of software and production master data, HSE assessment, production of prototypes & pre-series samples and preparation of phase over to serial production
  • Definition of project related industrialization requirements like design for manufacturing, design for service and design for reliability
  • Participation in change board meetings to identify and take over major changes to be executed within NPI
    Core team member in product development project as main interface to development project manager for all industrialization activities
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all manufacturing BOMs inside the ERP system and the transfer of engineering BOMs into manufacturing BOMs for sub and main assemblies, including adaptation for the needs of the production sites (Plant Level BOM)
  • Coordinate all production planning and work preparation activities within the area of new product introduction (NPI) to ensure an efficient sample production
  • Planning, scheduling and organizing assembly trials for prototypes, design modifications, exhibition chargers and pre-series sample production including testing, packaging and shipping to the end customer
  • Coordination of procurement and provision of materials required for NPI assembly builds in collaboration with R&D, purchasing, supply chain and logistics
  • Creation of work instructions for sub-assemblies and main assembly
  • Process documentation during assembly trials and sample production
  • Responsible for data maintenance in the ERP system
