YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

  • Cost Modeling: Develop and maintain precise cost models covering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Cost Estimation: Provide accurate cost estimates for new designs and engineering changes.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze cost data to identify cost drivers and trends and develop strategies for cost reduction.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement to negotiate favorable supplier terms and evaluate quotes for competitiveness.
  • Value Engineering: Facilitate value engineering workshops to promote innovative and cost-effective design alternatives.
  • Team Training: Train and mentor teams on cost models, fostering a cost-conscious culture within the organization.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Analytic and Quantitative Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems using quantitative methods.
  • Cost Engineering Deployment: Skill in deploying cost engineering effectively and influencing teams.
  • Educational Background: A degree in electronic engineering.
  • Component Expertise: Expertise in active and passive components is essential.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methods.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product development with a focus on cost/value engineering.
  • Business Knowledge: Broad business knowledge for effective cross-discipline interactions.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to drive change and challenge the organization.
  • Practical Knowledge: Practical knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English.
