Commercial Transformation Manager (m/f/d)
We are looking for a Commercial Transformation Manager for the Transformation Office.
The Commercial Transformation Manager acts as the analytical and operational backbone of the commercial organization. This role supports local sales and trade marketing teams in preparing high quality business reviews, drives commercial analyses, integrates multiple data sources (sell in, sell out, distributor, customer, consumer), and builds reporting tools to enable agile, insight driven decision making. Moreover, the role oversees the portfolio of all commercial projects, monitoring goals, budget and roadmap to ensure visibility to leadership on progress vs. milestones and investment returns.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with commercial FMCG analytics, and the ability to influence cross functional stakeholders
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Review Support: Help local sales teams prepare regular business reviews by providing clear insights, performance summaries, and executive‑ready storylines
- Deep‑Dive Analysis: Lead targeted analyses (e.g., market share loss, pricing issues, promo impact, competitive shifts) to identify root causes and recommend actions
- Sell‑In / Sell‑Out & Stock Analysis: Consolidate data across sources to assess true market performance, forward buying, stock flow, and distributor inventory levels
- Power BI Tool Development: Build automated dashboards combining sell‑in, sell‑out, consumer, and distributor data. Improve reporting efficiency and provide teams with actionable analytics
- Cross‑Functional Coordination: Track commercial initiatives, ensure governance routines, and facilitate alignment across Sales, Trade Marketing, Category Management and Finance
- Commercial Portfolio Management: oversees the portfolio of all commercial projects, monitoring goals, budget and roadmap to ensure visibility to leadership on progress vs. milestones and investment returns.
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales excellence, trade marketing, commercial analytics, PMO, business planning/analysis in the FMCG or consulting industry
- Strong analytical skills (hands-on experience with data tools like Power BI required) and project management skills
- High social competence, empathy, assertiveness and implementation strength
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German and / or Italian skills are of advantage.
