We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our digital product development team and contribute to the evolution of the ewo Configurator, the platform that turns our product portfolio into valid, orderable product configurations. 
ewo products are highly customizable, with millions of possible product combinations. The Configurator makes this complexity manageable: built on the product data governed by DataHub, our Single Source of Truth for technical, commercial, and configuration data, it guides the creation of product configurations and connects directly to our ERP, forming the foundation of our ordering process. It is a business-critical system at the heart of how ewo sells and delivers its products. 
As a senior member of the team, you will help shape the architecture and future evolution of the Configurator, working closely with the teams responsible for DataHub and ERP integration, while contributing to additional digital initiatives across the company. 
Our software systems are built using modern cloud-native technologies and containerized services running on Kubernetes, following Agile, DevOps, Clean Code, and Continuous Delivery principles. We are also actively embracing AI-assisted software development, leveraging modern AI tools to increase productivity, improve code quality, accelerate prototyping, and support software design and delivery processes. 
ewo designs and manufactures high-quality and highly customizable lighting solutions for public spaces such as streets, squares, airports, museums, and urban environments. Senior Software Engineer (w/m/x)

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Mitarbeit in verschiedenen Bereichen der Lagerlogistik.
  • Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Material- und Warenflusses.
  • Bedienung von Fördermitteln, insbesondere Gabelstaplern.
  • Unterstützung bei Bestandsführung und Inventuren.

You may fit this role if you:

  • Have solid experience designing and developing complex, business-critical software systems. 
  • Are comfortable taking ownership of complex software solutions and driving technical decisions. 
  • Write high-quality backend software in C# and .NET. 
  • Have solid experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), including schema design, query optimization, indexing, performance tuning, 
  • Have experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript. 
  • Enjoy working with complex domain logic, such as rules, constraints, and dependencies between product options, and turning it into maintainable, well-performing software. 
  • Believe in automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.  
  • Are interested in leveraging AI-assisted development tools and engineering practices to improve productivity and software quality.  
  • Enjoy collaborating within Agile teams and helping others grow through mentoring, pair programming, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
